We had another amazing 10 day trip with our now new friends from the Olney Scuba Diving Club, USA. We had a great time with them onboard and we all enjoyed the beautiful diving the Solomon Islands offered us.

Starting our trip in the Russells, with amazing weather and great visibility, we saw the amazing lights at the incredible Leru Cut and the beautiful coral gardens at Mirror Pond. We then continued our route to Mary Island where we enjoyed our dives surrounded by big schools of jacks and barracudas, white tips and grey reef sharks. We were all happy to see that Megatron, our resident mutant anemone fish, still lives and that he is becoming famous amongst our diving friends!
When we got to Marovo Lagoon the seas were calm and we spent some time watching four adult orcas and a baby one cruise by the boat, that was great!! Underwater, the marine life was stunning too. We were lucky and saw hammerhead sharks, spotted eagle rays, black tip reef and silver tip reef sharks as well as pygmy seahorses, orangutan crabs, disco clams, porcelain crabs and a great variety of ghost pipe fish (ornate, robust and halimeda). We also loved the amazing carving markets and meeting the lovely people living in these incredible islands.

Back in the Russells we were welcomed with eagle rays, some more black tip reef sharks and big bumphead parrotfish at Karumolun, we also had the chance to be delighted with some traditional singing and dancing in the village.

...and to end our amazing trip we were lucky to have the right current to spot a few manta rays feeding at Devil's Highway!

We would like to thank everyone that joined this trip for being so enthusiastic, it was great to see everyone enjoy the diving and everything else so much! It was a real pleasure to share these days with you! We would like to congratulate Elton and Don for their 800 dives on board! And last but not least, a special thanks to our amazing crew for the fantastic work they do every day.

Hoping to see you all again soon,

Happy bubbles!
