Bilikiki is back from another great 10 day (August 17-27) trip! It was the second trip of August and the wind has been blowing a little bit more than usual. However, it didn't stop us! We took our guests, from the US and Italy, diving on these islands' beautiful reefs and saw amazing things! One of our guest had been counting species of fish and by the end of the trip she counted over a 130 different species of fish! In ten days!
We had a great dive in Leru, with the light beams in a perfect position it made the cut totally magical! Everyone loved Mary Island, not only because of Barracuda Point, but also because of the peaceful and alive Bilikiki Bay (full of different species of angel fish, dart fishes and of course, the totally magnificent gilded triggerfish). Wickham Island was just incredible with mobulas, eagle rays, cuttlefish, crocodile fish and of course that Kavachi soundtrack!
White Beach & Wreck of the Ann brought in some really special fishes and great macro. Amongst others, our guests' favourites were the archer fish, the schools of diamond fish, hairy squat lobsters, candy crabs, butt crabs, twin spot gobies, pipefish and the persian (magic) carpet flatworms. Our afternoon dive at KauKau was a beautiful way to finish a day surrounded by clouds of anthias (red fin & flame), damselfish, demoiselles and many more!
In the Floridas, there was amazing interactions with cuttlefish and octopus at Velvia. We had guests falling in love with the huge area of pavona clavus corals (now baptised as potato corals!). We even got some spinner dolphins together with a bottlenose coming to ride the bow wave of the Bilikiki.
The village visits and floating markets were a hit as always! Our guests will take many amazing memories back home! Thank you so much for choosing the Bilikiki for your diving holiday, we hope we will see you soon!
And last but not least, a BIG thank you to the fabulous Bilikiki crew for their continuous hard work and kindness.
Happy Bubbles
