August 19-29, 2023 Trip
Bilikiki has just returned from an amazing 10 day trip organized by Dive Centre Manly from Sydney. We would like to thank Tricky and Janet for coming back to the Bilikiki and for bringing such a nice, fun group of divers.
The sun came out much more than it has lately and as always, the marine life was fantastic! When it came to macro, we were happy to see all our "regulars", topping the list of critters were a cockatoo waspfish and a couple of pygmy pipehorses! And for the big stuff, a special mention goes to Mary Island and the huge schools of barracudas, our usual fish friends, and several unique encounters with eagle rays, bumphead parrotfish and numerous schools of long jawed mackerel feeding there! What a show!
The sun shining in Mbulo Caves made that dive one of the best of the trip and the coral gardens in the Russells and the Floridas, with their rivers of fusiliers, anthias, damsel fish, angel fish, schools of red tooth trigger fish and unicorn fish, were just breathtaking! We always feel touched when some of the guests come back to the boat from their dive, saying that they were the best dives of their lives!!!

Carving markets, fresh floating markets and village visits were great experiences for our guests too. It is really special to experience not only the diving but also the beautiful people and traditions of the Solomon Islands!
Thank you everyone for making it such a lovely trip and for being so cheerful. We loved diving with you all! A big thank you again to our Bilikiki crew for their hard work, kindness and attention to details!
